I never had a note left on my car but this happend to me last summer. It was a nice weather outside so me and my friends parked and stood near our cars to chat and enjoy the weather, about 10 min in our conversation a pair (a guy and his girl) was heading twards us and i can hear them talking the girl says " so am going to take your car today and ull take myne" the guy sad ok and told her he has a 2 door car, as he was getting ready 2 sit in to her beeter car, the girl walks over to my car opens the door and sits behind the steering wheel. I am standing saying nothing and just loooking 2 see what happends. Few seconds later she opens the door and screams "hey John where do i put the key in?" at that moment my and my friends faces are like
 The guy heard her, got out of the car and screamed "thats not my car, myne is over there" pointing at a 2004 mersedies sl somthing {the 2 door} when he sad that we started laughing the girl looked at us asked if its our car i sad yes its myne she apologied and complimented me on the Z got out and got in to her bf car.

I just started driving my Z. I'm blown away by how many people stare at it (okay, it's red, that doesn't help). They're so rare around here (I've seen 1 370 in the last 6 months) that I guess it really stands out. And I'm pretty sure I'm the only person in my town (16,000 people) with one.
