climate control - default setting is off?

Okay, talked to my dealer. Apparently this is correct. Climate Control shuts down completely when you turn the engine off and only restarts manually. Guess I've never had a car

Climate Control shuts down completely when you turn the engine off and only restarts manually. Guess I've never had a car set up like that so it kind of freaked me out. I know, in theory, it's best to shut everything off prior to start (less drain / stress on all the components), but I guess Nissan figured they'd just do it for you...
