The switch showed up on the 2011 MY, allthough the 10A Fuse which is replaced by the switch could be blown in djsekz's case. Did you check the fuse, or

The switch showed up on the 2011 MY, allthough the 10A Fuse which is replaced by the switch could be blown in djsekz's case. Did you check the fuse, or swap it out to be sure djsekz?
If you look at my origional post "Extended Storage Switch" linked above, there will be red 10A fuse in the location where the switch is pictured on your 2009. If you don't have OBD power or an exterior chime I am betting that fuse is blown. However, my door buttons still functioned even though the switch was open, so if they don't work at all you may have more electrical issues than just the fuse.
