You ran into a crappy Chevrolet dealership. I went to one in Claremont, and they had no issue with me taking one out for a quick spin.

...though maybe they still remember us from when we bought 3 suburbans in a row from them...

I saw a Camaro SS at a local dealer here last week...they said it was already sold.
