Both of those cars are great but I didn't want the headache of the backseats and the rest of the interior getting juice spills, stains and all the other crazy **** kids and spouses do. Hardly anyone rides in the Z and I like that way.

Now if I could only trailer my Harley with the Z...lol

+1 on the no backseats i've always had 2doors and I never really liked people in the back!!!

There's also a thread about towing if your serious? Which I hope not...:stirthepot:

I don't believe Z owners trade their cars anymore than any other car. In fact, I would bet it happens far less. We are just so unaccustomed to seeing Zs sold that when a handful finally do, it seems like it's a lot.

I was on the lot of a carmax here in cally recently, and they had tons of sports cars. Must have been 8+ bmw coupes, several 350s, and so on. But there was only one 370.

PS: I'm not saying one used car lot is representative of anything. Just an example to illustrate my point.

there's also nowhere near as many 370Z's sold as other cars. If your numbers were representative of the norm, it would indicate a higher percentage of 370s being sold.

Almost any given model year of the 350z is more prevalent than the 370z as a whole, not to mention the age difference.

[QUOTE=PapoZalsa;1513990]1- They might 2009 models that are running out of warranty or will be soon.

2- Most people are not really Z enthusiastic.

3- Some people like a new car every 3 yrs

4- Some people buy out of impulse then they realize that is not what they wanted.

:iagree: warranty is a big one.

True true.. I myself tend to like change but I still like the exclusivity that the Z has compared to other cars. If mine was not totaled I would probably still have it.

Rarity, not exclusivity. Exclusive implies barriers to entry... like price. The Z is priced for everyone. ;)

A 458 Italia is exclusive.

So it looks like many people bought more car than they could afford, maybe thinking they would eventually get a raise, promotion, or better job, and are correcting that miscalculation.

This is probably true in most of the cases, even the ones not mentioning financial troubles. After all, people like to lie and hate admitting they messed up. Also, many rush purchases like this normally which only exasserbates the problem when you start looking at such a niche vehicle like the Z.
