Makes me happy i purchased an extended warranty today at my dealership.
I'm at 35,500. got it for 120 down and 59 a month for 18 months. good until
75,000. they even threw in a years worth of free oil changes every 3500 miles. i figure by 75,000 it will be trade in time.. i just wanted the peace of mind..........................

Some negative frost rep coming up!

Kidding, kidding. But it sure does suck to see your car like that :\

LMBmikeZ 01-19-2012 09:30 PM

Damn this does suck! I was not aware of this issue with our z's! I was always skeptic about the whole non-traditional ignition setup........ Hope everything is fixed and running soon GL! +1rep to help cheer you up :tiphat:

which would mean if mine happens to lock up next month
I would save 500. Half of my total premium

i see... :( sorry to hear and see.

if the dealer tells you they are back ordered for a long time, i would ask them if they can tap at the lock and to get it to start. chances are you can still use the car while you wait for your lock to come in.

courtesyparts.com has them in-stock as of today still... GL!!
