Whew! Thought I was going to lose my mind finding this thread! Here's a great how-to on removing the stock knob.

this is absolutely awesome dude. mine should be arriving this week and i will give it a try switching them myself....

to not lose a thread i usually set up to "instantly email notification" simply because sometimes a thread dies out... but then weeks later it may pick it back up again so the emails keep me posted.

Or how about getting tools? Ramps, hydraulic jack, jack stands, socket, ratchet, powered drovers, etc
