I actually do care a little about the Altima, my last car was the v6 07 Altima. Good car, if the new Altima is nic,e maybe it can be my future 'practical' car while the Z can be my fun car and be saved from some DD mileage. The Sentra I care zero about though.

I just recall a dealership guy saying that to me. I don't know how much truth was there, but I can't imagine there not being a new G/Z by 2014 or 15. That'll be 5 or 6 years and models rarely live longer than that. I wouldn't mind having the latest body style Z for a few more years.

I see, I personally like the Z body styling as well, the new 37, not as much, however, the 37 was one of the cars I was looking at before purchasing the Z, so it pricked my curiosity when I heard you say you heard something about their being a new G, if that is the case, I defientley would be interested in seeing what they would come out with for the new G.

Well, the G is a much larger volume sales car than the Z so you will def see a new G whereas the Z could possible disappear for a while to be reinvented after they stop making our 370s.

I think most people are joking when they talk about a tt or diesel model coming soon form the factory. It's what we all would like to see.

Well, just because you don't count the well documented minor upgrades that have happened, doesn't mean Nissan hasn't made minor upgrades to the car. Frankly, as current owners, we don't really want Nissan making major improvements to the car every year because it devalues our cars.

I agree with all your points your preaching to the choir.
As you said the GT-R received some minor tweaks in HP and suspension. And i don't believe making those upgrades devalued the earlier GT-R'S at all. as soon as they left the dealer new they lost value. it wouldn't bother me if the 370 had minor upgrades every year or so to keep up with the competition in fact that might even make the later 370's increase in value. my only point i was trying to make was it seems imo the 370 is low on nissan's list of projects. |

You can't expect a facelift or anything every couple years.
