I like how people think we've just bought a $50,000 when this car cost no more than a regular Nissan Maxima.

:iagree: and it's not really even making less money, it's about caring less about their own lives and their possesions...people live like zombies and couldn't care less about a ding or scratch. I had a friend who used to park her new car next in a tight spot at work and her driver door was all tore up because she would always smack it on the wall of the next building when she got out?!?!! Kills me.

I used to not understand why neighborhoods had minimum property-value standards, etc. in the nice parts of town. Now I do. It's to keep trash from destroying defenseless property earned by the more successful. Because they can, and they do.

A lot of the time it's hate. Carelessness doesn't know monetary bounds. I know rich people who are careless. I am referring to the trash that says "man, bastard has a newer car. I'm going to key it."

Yeah... that is a whole other kind of *blankity blank*! I think we are prone to being affected by the careless type of people on the normal day to day. Either way, makes me paranoid.

My friend actaully called me high-maintenance the other night because I parked further away than I could have...I was like "deal with it...or you can drive next time" ;)

I do the samething. But nobody would call me high-maintenance. ;) I park miles away because people in general just don't give a crap about themselves, their own belongings, or anyone else's. It's a shame.

I'm scared to park too far away. I don't want to "stand out" for the haters. It's a delicate balance. I definitely see more hate-crime destruction than I do carelessness, though. Unless you count dipshits backing into things.

No **** it is. I'm moving at the end of this year. Crime here is horrible. We are #3 in the nation over-all, and #1 in the nation for murder. #1 or #2 for auto-insurance, #49 for education, #2 for obesity, and #45 or so for life-expectancy.

It's a shitty, shitty state, and I am moving very soon. Just saving up some cash to go. That is part of the trading of the Z06 for the 370Z deal I am into now.

Like Travolta said in Pulp Fiction when his Malibu got keyed. "It would be almost worth him doing it just to catch him"
