Installed the Z1 Post MAF's and HKS drop in filters today. Then I took it for a test spin. My but dyno and VDC ingagement ratio dyno both tell me that it did provide some extra power. It increased the intake noise more than I thought too at high RPM. I figured since the stock box is retained that it would have no noise changes but the high flow filter along with the elimination of the flex pipes does provide a good volume increase. Great simple and inexpensive mod.

Took advantage of a warm winter day by washing the dirt and salt off of my Z; a flash snow storm caught the wife and me by surprise while we were eating at a restaurant on Sunday evening . We took longer than usual to get home, because those sporty tires just don't appreciate the snow. ;)

bbigby- you were doing donuts in the parking lot so that's why it took longer than usual, huh? speak the truth. :icon17:

Just have had good experiences with Z1 and the price was right. I bought the pipes and an oil cooler kit at the same time.

Thank you Mr.kenchan, like Mr.onzedge, since I cannot drive my Z these days, shopping stuffs for the Z is the only way I can comfort myself, I am afraid I am getting the Z-noon-drivable Syndrome that its high season is Winter or Screwing Lock Failure.... LOL In fact, I did the K&N drop-in too, but those threads about CAI recently just making me itch very badly!!! :icon18: :icon18: |
Left my Z at home because it's raining, and it's cleannnnnnn!
