Fire 02-17-2012 07:19 PM

I do have to tell you guys about the call I got from Nissan yesterday. I have my payments taken out every two weeks and payments sent to Nissan. I have recieved statements saying that I payed $10,000 one month and owed a half payment two months later. Hmmm. Anyway with the evry two week payments you make an extra months payment a year. So yesterday I gat a call saying I was half a payment behind!! WTH. Took me a half hour to explain that I was actually 2 months ahead in my payments due to the two week payments. Hopefully everything is ok but who knows.:stirthepot:

Fire 02-17-2012 07:21 PM

I see Kenman the old denial of interest trying to get me to let it slip and bam you report to your superiors.:icon18:

kenchan 02-17-2012 07:22 PM

Very nice! I love a great meal!

Ok, my username is not indicative of my actual name. While I may be happy often, my name is not "happy".

I know this forum doesn't condone any type of street racing and I completely agree and think that it is stupid and dangerous.
This case was different. I was a couple of blocks away from my house and I live in an area with a lot of twists and turns. My brother and I are talking and he asks me if I've ever seen a cop around my area (people tend to drive fast on this street). Just as he finishes saying that we see a cop posted in the shadow of a tree at the entrance of a small side street.
I go by him going about 55 in a 30 (non-residential). He turns on his lights and pulls out in his Ford Explorer. I look at my brother and he tells me to go.
I got home a-okay. :eekdance:

Wish I had a restaurant, would serve charboilburgers and sushi.:hello: My special is a chilecheesetunacharboilburger

happytheman 02-17-2012 11:34 PM

How did we go from charburgers and cheeze fries to this bastardized charboilburgers/charcoboilbugers?

DYNAZOR 02-17-2012 11:51 PM

Drove around to a few places nearby (and one not so nearby) to look into getting a clear bra installed. Checking out one more tomorrow before making a decision. Got a little sticker shock from one guy; he wants $750 for bumper, mirrors, partial front fenders and partial hood, $1200 for the same except with a full hood, ouch! Does that sound right? I saw a Shelby GT500 being picked up by its owner and the job looked pretty damned good, but $1200?

It's about right, I paid $750 for mine, full bumper, partial hood, partial fender BUT NO Mirror.

Your $750 sounds pretty decent. Venture Shield, right???

DYNAZOR 02-18-2012 12:02 AM

Well, it's definitely 3M, and I made special note of the product name while I was at the shop, but I can't remember it now, might be Venture Shield.

Are you happy with the way the job came out?

I believe the Venture Shield is a newer product under 3M.

I like it very much, but its result also depends on the color of your car, mine is white color so it is a bit tricky, the best result is on black, grey and silver.

Overall I like it very much and I think it's a good investment!! :tiphat:

BTW, you can do some search in the forum, there're some Z fellows have posted the pics with the shields on.

Howdy. I am trying to resist the temptation of going to Pardee's and buying the 70 - 200 2.8 before my trip to Utah the week after next. A little garage cleaning and Z washing might distract me.

wooo~ nice! your camera hobby is like my music hobby... i keep buying new things. :D this week i got a new crane laptop stand for my MBP... i wrapped the clamp using DiNoc this am. :icon17:

garage cleaning sounds good. i wanted to wash the floor yesterday after washing my G, but that would mean high humidity inside for 3days (not taking her or Z out over the 3 day weekend) so decided just to use a deck brush this time... i hate stains on my floors. :eekdance:

hahaha, very true.

my wife does a lot of crafts too when she has time. i remember back 8 or so years ago i bought her a serger (sp?) it's like a sewing machine that cuts fabric simultaneously. it made some of her crafts look so professionally done that when she went to sell her crafts at a local crafts fair the host yelled at her for selling non-craft things. :bowrofl: wife gave me a double   :D

I am very familiar with a serger. The craft host guy sounds funny -- "Officer, I swear I made this myself".
