I use the jdm tape to mask off seals (black parts of car) and nooks when polishing. :D. Wax is not too big of an issue but polish residue is a pita to remove when dry.

The masking tape can also being used to cover the edge of the clearbra thus the wax won't leave residues along the edge.

Oh yeah, looking to purchase a good radar detector for my wife. I told her to either go with a V1 or a Passport 9500ix. Now the Passport has some kind of subscription service that integrates a bluetooth connection to your android/iphone with vital information. Hmmm, maybe the Passport will be the way to go.

Any thoughts on that? I know...there's tons of threads on this stuff...I was just curious about the general opinion.

I am thinking about doing that also. When I was waxing the nose of the 370 on Sunday, there are many little chips.

Guys, I've been using it for years. The trick is learning the drying time for your particular area. The more humid, the longer it takes.

@ $48 bucks, that's cheap enough to screw up the install and not feel bad about it! This is good stuff, I'm going to have to check it out. I'm about to go w/ spacers and new Stillen side skirts.

:icon18: yah, neither is my toilet paper.

as long as you keep the adhesive side wet with soapy solution you can't really mess this up. :D
