I know what you mean about the Post MAF's. Honestly this is why I haven't bothered touching my intakes. When you say you felt a gain you just mean throttle response? Not actual HP? And why do you say it was too noisy? I've never actually been in another Z with an aftermarket intake (most of the local guys have the drop ins LOL). |
I did nothing with the Z's today, but I am home at last.

Apparently the guys with the G37's and R2C's are showing improved midrange but not improved top range like Gen 3's? I wish there were some 370z dynos lol

Dyno bragging rights-stillen 1/4 mile-stillen track-toss up, depends canyon runs-r2C looks-stillen (IMO) just want a more peppy engine -r2c etc |

I'm most likely never going to install stillens on my car. The top end performance doesn't justify it for me. My options are drop in or R2C. But, if the R2C is going to cause a loss in power I wouldn't bother.. BUT, if it truly adds to the mid range without losing power in the power band that is awesome. I'm tired of everyone sacrificing low/mid gains for all peak top end. I just wish there were more people discussing the R2C's on Z's. |

yea, I get what you're saying. If I knew for a fact that the R2C's did indeed boost the mid without losing bottom/top I'd buy them.
