Hello, mr.onzedge.

Mr.kenchan :tiphat:

hey kenchan, when I was taking off the clutch-helper-spring last night, it reminds me those shocks we use in R/C cars, of cause the size are completely different, but it just reminds me... those days... LOL :icon17:

I was as well until I actually did it. Changing the spring didn't necessarily change the clutch engagement point much. But what it did do was make it feel much more consistent. The end result is a slightly stiffer clutch pedal that doesn't rebound against you on the way back up when you release the clutch. All in all it's a more enjoyable ride.

Yes, the clutch-point is more obvious, I haven't has a chance to actually drive/try it, but it feels better, the only thing I have to get rid of now is the squeaky noise..... it occurs after I remove the spring.....:shakes head:

Hi Alcheng I was kinda avoiding the knob discussion :tiphat: I think it reached an all time low when Happy said that he had been sitting on his knob for a couple weeks :inoutroflpuke:

Yes I did :happydance: I figured it's easier to make it louder later on than more quiet.

kenchan 03-01-2012 10:52 AM

hey fire good luck to your dad's day surgery! :)

Fire 03-01-2012 10:53 AM

Loud pipes save lives :tiphat: My 69 Vette had 4 inch side pipes with no mufflers. What??

Fire 03-01-2012 10:54 AM

Thanks Ken. Shouldn't be much, my mom had her knee replaced so I'm sure she will keep him in line. :icon17:

Safety first! Although my neighbors give me weird looks when the turbo spools on that thing and the back end starts to drift while I'm cutting.

Right on. I got the same one.

I have one of these and have found it makes work MUCH faster. You may wanna check it out if you're doing the install yourself.
