I read a few of your posts off to the service manager at my dealership. He said he has seen this problem before already. Only thing I can hope is that they fix it quick AND it doesn’t repeat it self. I don’t like the possibility of the car just stranding me some where.

I was also thinking is it possible for the steering wheel to lock up while your driving?

Anything is possible while I doubt it would happen. If you're worried i suppose you can just plug the lock to the harness but don't mount it into the steering column. The beauty of doing the work yourself is you can do these options I guess.
