I would say assume nothing, SRM is always on unless you turn it off which most people drive with it on 100% of the time. Change the oil, drop it

I would say assume nothing, SRM is always on unless you turn it off which most people drive with it on 100% of the time.
Change the oil, drop it by a trusted Nissan dealership and have it inspected and see what they say. They can also check service codes and history on the car from the OBD-II and VIN.
