Things you didnt know about your 370z

Ok, I got this idea from the M3 board I'm on. It's a thread for things that are not commonly known about the 370z. Any tips, tricks, secrets or features you know about please add!

If I had not read a few car magazines, I never would have known it only has two seats. I've written a letter to Nissan to get those missing seats TSB'd.

I didn't know you could roll your windows down by pressing the unlock button on the key fob for a few seconds

I found out the little button beside the trunk release can lock/unlock the car.

It's a secret lol :roflpuke2:

Lemers 10-25-2011 03:14 PM

The secret compartment is only big enough for the owners manuals. Otherwise it's worthless.

kielbasa16 10-25-2011 03:17 PM

The automatic window reset is neat, but annoying if you dont know it. Hold the windows down button for a few seconds, hold the windows up button for a few seconds. Needs to be reset after you disconnect your battery.

You must be thinking of the stuff behind the seats. That's not the secret compartment.

Are you fellows talking about the behind the seat handgun storage compartment. I guess you could put the owners manuals back there too in a pinch.

I believe people should spend a little more time reading the owners manual than on the internet......,

SPOHN 10-25-2011 05:08 PM

Didn't know modding was so addictive. Even though I've been through this before.

themann1984 10-25-2011 05:47 PM

The 370Z is pure sex! It is hot, loud, and rough!

I actually like the 12v for the 7.5" HD Video Monitor routed to the GoPro cam which it uses the power supply in the center console.

EazyD 10-25-2011 06:35 PM

Gas cap tether has a plastic loop on it to hang on the inside of the gas door.

anthonyy 10-25-2011 06:42 PM

the faster you press down on the gas pedal, the faster you will go! It's like a turbo but not really

That's exactly what I use mine for, it's a great place to keep a gun where you can get your hands on it quickly and unless someone knew the compartment was there they would never find it.

Lemers 10-25-2011 08:49 PM

The gas door locks when you lock the car doors

EazyD 10-25-2011 09:00 PM

the spare is nice

Ron 10-25-2011 10:46 PM

There isn't on the Roadsters. The rest do have them.

Nismoracer 10-25-2011 11:18 PM

I have to ask. So this secret compartment is not the one the owners manual comes in? I think I have a hunch to where it is after looking at the s2k thread.

Ill have to check it out when I get home
