I don't really believe that it is so much the thickness of the paint as I do the fact that it is so brittle. Since August of 02 when I took delivery of my 03 350 I have noticed chips in areas that I have never seen on any new car I have purchased since 1964. That and the bug kills that just sink into the paint on all of the new cars are ridiculous. But the body shops just love it. ![]()
