Not really, because the Z is down 80 HP and tied the GT minus the straights... So that says they're both faster than the EVO.

When you compare them based on facts and not subjective categories like "fun to drive, because the VDC will let you get away with having zero talent" then it's clear that the GT was the fastest car, the Z was second, and the Evo was third. Throw out the straightaways to take away the power/weight advantage of the GT and you have the GT and Z tied, but the Evo is still trailing.

All I'm saying is, there's a reason mr. Scca say down with mr & mrs Nissan to tell them that their precious little boy would need to be held back a grade, and it wasnt because he was beating up the evos.

If evoAXE was talking solo class then he should know that the Evo was moved down to B Stock from A Stock. The non Nismo 370z was moved down to C Stock in 2010 but the Nismo is still in B Stock.

I dont give a ish what anyone has to say when comparing the mustang and the evo to the Z. The Z is the most exotic looking IMHO ad many others according the countless compliments I recieve, and it gets the job done for the price.

Whats the point in owning a sports car that doesnt look like a sports car? Mustangs are all over, and the evo looks just like any other GG I see everyday. The first thing that attracts me to a woman are her looks. That goes double for my cars.

i wonder how nissan would fair in the comparisons with an oil cooler and some brake ducts... we may never know

We won't know unless they actually do it. They margins of performace between most of these cars are thin as it is. Why not use the one that has slightly more power and marketed for semi-track use.

It's about a $2,200 difference over a touring/sport, hardly "much more expensive/"
