Vinyl Wrap questions

So i'm thinking about having my 300zx vinyl wrapped. It needs a few panels painted and i really dont feel like paying for a full high quality paint job right now, and i dont want to cheap out. So until i'm ready to get a real good paint job, i'd rather do vinyl.

I've done a bit of research but i still have a few questions.

How does it hold up to rock chips? What kind of care does it require? How long can i expect it to last, and how much does it cost?

Most wraps can be take off after 5 years but I haven't head anything to make me think long then 5. Durability it depends on the shape it's on, and how think the film is. I'm look at a 4mm which should help a lot with instal. For me that was important because I know the fronts going to get shat on by NJ highway system and drivers, so I can affordably replace it
