Your options are limited to begin with and coupled with your own limitations you are pretty much stuck. If you want European you are pretty much stuck with the 335ix. From Asia you have the STI and EVO. I don't think anything from VW is worth it right now.

In my opinion, for a nice cruiser that still has power, I would get the S5. Love the look and it has AWD which I also love. The only downside is the performance for the price. Then again, the $/performance ratio on European cars is pretty bad when compared to cars from Japan. So with that in my mind my vote is for the STI. Stage 2 will get you a high 12 sec car that can be very versatile with regards to weather and space. Still very fun to drive and not to heavy in the pocketbook.

Again, you can stick to your European move but all your really doing is paying 10-20k more for a name (BMW, benz, audi, etc).
