Absolutely and absolutely.
When approaching a speed trap, drivers that see the trap, have a radar detector or just go along with the crowd will slow down. When you flash your lights, you are simply warning other drivers about an upcoming traffic condition that may be unsafe and may require them to react. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!!!
