Unfortunately, the used the GL-4 Nissan MT fluid in both places. I even called to confirm this. Too bad I drove it pretty hard on the way back home. I'll make sure to take it easy until Monday when I have them fix it.

GL-4 gear oil was the standard for rear differential for years before GL-5 was developed. GL-4 will be fine.
