Mercedes-Benz-Powered Nissan Z - New Sports Cars from Nissan at RoadandTrack.com V8 option might be cool.... but a diesel AND a hybrid  ... c'mon now nissan.. REALLY. keep the tree huggers out of the Z design room!

The Z is all about cheap Nissan that can produce, but if it goes German and Nissan i just might buy my self a cayman Porsche cheap and its a Porsche.
anyways its just not going to be the same from now on. you wouldn't be able to say "yeah man you just got yo *** beat by a Nissan" now it would be " yeah man you just got yo *** beat by a nis..errr..benz..umm something like that"

IMO, I'd much rather have the engine from the M35h than a Mercedes engine.

I wish car manufacturers would just get with the program and make diesel hybrids common already.
Personally I couldn't care much about the power plant be it hybrid, gas, diesel, or something else. As long as it continues to build on the previous version/model not a one step forward two steps back upgrade. |

I don't expect a huge difference in the engine. They will use what ever engine is being used in their Infiniti line that can be tuned for extra HP
