kinda flattering actually, never had my own personal stalker before...back on topic though just had this happen last night...silver vw jetta on my *** almost my whole way home till i got off on my exit, seemed like he wanted to race, but i wasnt taking the bait so he just tried to be annoying i guess  now that i think about it though i always seem to get the hate from the vw drivers, especially older jettas

yeah its always the older body style 94-99 styles with slap on ebay turbo kits that try to race, in reality they have no reason to be racing because their stock 150 hp motor even with a turbo kit is not even equivalent to most 370z stock. need to uprgade dudes its 2012, cant be living in the past decade. :driving::tup:

there was a eclipse the other day that pulled up to me at the red light, he looked over at me, and was like im gonna mirk your ****, i revved my engine, let him get amped up, he thought he was pulling on on me by jumping the green. Well that ended in a disaster for him:bowrofl:

Not only did I not bite, I made him look like fool. I give him some credit though hes one of the only eclipses around here that had the balls to step to me, but he was shut down quick . :roflpuke2:

Gotta love driving a Z.

ShinyBlueZ 10-29-2012 01:37 PM

does he now owe you a 10 second car?

don't get anyone killed, Vin.

it's winter now. floors are slippery. old ladies crossing the streets everywhere.

In CA. this is wet leaves time. Keep it mellow on the twisties until the leaves are all washed away. Friend of mine ate it in a Vega on wet leaves at about 35 with me in it. Seat belts will save your life... Car completely buckled with the trany putting a big dent on the floor tunnel. We were both wearing seatbelts with no injuries.

I drove to a local restaurant, Finley's, to pick up my to-go order that I called in. I left the building and there was a standing on a side walk smoking as I was leaving. I get in my car and make my way towards the exit doing parking lot speeds, 4-5mph. As I passed the guy smoking he flips me off. I abruptly stop the car and then he turns his back to me. I wasn't going to buck up my chest and fight or anything, but; I was curious as to why he did it. I wasn't speeding, I didn't push him out of my way, and I wasn't being arrogant in any way...

I was however hungry so I left and ate my steak and ribs at my house. :)

LOL. I didn't know anyone on here knew what a Vega was but us old farts. I seem to recall the rust was horrific due to no front fender liners, but GM saved 3 bucks a car.

And meanwhile, on the GTI forum...

'So I was driving my GTI on this back road near my house and this CRAZY guy in a 370Z was tailgating me. I eased away from him, but he was still right on my bumper, so I gunned it. I was trying to dial 911 at the same time and lost it. I'm glad he kept going on past me - he probably had a gun or something - pretty sure he was drunk. By the time the Police got there, he was long gone. Really feared for my life. Not sure what I did to tick him off so badly. I've heard a lot of unstable people by 370z's.'

scottIN 11-15-2012 07:39 AM

I was behind a GTO 5.7 yesterday at a left turn light. He was sitting in front of me revving & jumping it. I was 2 miles away from the dealership & just got my oil changed, so no way I was going to get on it before I made sure everything was ok.

So the light turns & he guns it. Gets about halfway through the intersection and realizes he's way too fast to make the turn. Slams on the brakes & goes sideways in the gravel, off the brakes, car catches & is now going to the right instead of the left. Comes to a stop & tries to flip it around 180* (y'know...cause that's how they do it in the movies). Car won't break the *** end loose and now he's in a big arc, off the road, onto the shoulder - but at least headed the right direction. Finally gets back on the road and continues on.

All this time I'm sitting about 1/4 of the way through the intersection watching this extreme lesson in how to drive like an idiot. And all the people sitting waiting to go the other direction are watching it too (4 lane divided highway). I'm guessin' he was glad he had tinted windows. I was laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes.

I'm soooo glad he schooled me in how great his car (and his driving) are...

I get this sometimes but not as harsh as you, there was a camaro once with a dude older than me, flying down the highway trying to catch up to me and started to tailgate me. I thought sometimes you just have to teach people to back off, and sped off leaving him struggling trying to keep up. he stopped after that :P

That happens to me many times too, people thought I try to race them when I pass them....

Just Monday there was this stupid Altima, going in front of me and we got onto the HWY, after the ramp I change to the middle lane cos my car was going faster....

All the sudden he speed to the left lane, pass me with a less than 2-ft gap side-by-side....

I was in a hurry but then he "race" me all the way.... :icon14:

Interesting people...... :ugh2:

ShinyBlueZ 11-15-2012 05:20 PM

^^^ probably a cousin of the guy in a SENTRA that I left behind at a red light on Spadina.. who eventually (after 27 seconds) got up to 120 in the 50 zone and 'took off' on me while giving me a look, the sun gleaming off his gangsta silver/aluminum chain.
