oh dear i have to refrain from posting while drunk...

People fly past me all the time or try to accelerate off the line a bit harder. Usually I just ignore them... it's annoying though when sometimes I speed up ever so slightly to pass someone going a bit slow in order to cut in front of them, and the second I get beside them they side to mash the throttle -_-

This happens to me a lot when I try to pass people and then they accelerate. I had one person in a prius last week that decided it would be fun to keep pace with another driver on a two lane hwy so I couldnt get passed. It stayed like that for about 3 miles and then I downshifted to 4th and went onto an on ramp and went around both of them. PITA prius drivers.

Am i the only getting revved on by VW's and Priuses more all of a sudden, and Wow V6 Honda Accords love to get on your ***.

I've been getting a lot of attention since I put on Zele body people ask every time I stop what kinda car is that or when I drive by I get weird stares from people:confused: but I'm always polite since most people know nothing about cars :hello:

Traffic was stuck at a red light and I stopped to let a girl out and she flipped me off and called me an assh0le :wtf:

What I have been doing to the last couple of ricers that want to race is. If I'm cruising down the road, and one pulls up next to me, motioning that he wants the race. I down shift a couple of gears, then nail the throttle. Get the jump on him. Then back out of the throttle just as quick as I got in to it. The one I did this to, got a ticket for speeding. LOL I was coming back from the local mall. I knew where the state cop was sitting at, because I seen him early on my way to the mall. LOL :D

Also, someone tried to egg it today in the driveway about noon time. They didn't have enough arm. They fell short by 2ft.

People these days smh

I was at a gas station filling up just minding my own business an this blacked out challenger comes up in front of me an revs it to the moon the damn thing sounded like it was gonna blow up :ugh2:

ive street raced since the 60s in all kinds of cars. ive had 6 roadsters and there are a lot of envious drivers out there that cannot aford these cars so they become as----- i figure i worked for it and im going to enjoy it,thats like we have a mustang running around with a license plate that reads [ you wont ] and hes looking to race everything in sight ,he comes up on my as- then comes next to me then speeds off ,i just shook my head and smiled its nice having a sports car that looks good and goes fast and dosent have to prove it at every stop light ,if i wanted that i would have bought a pile of metal with a big engine and not the tech and looks and class of the Z bye for now just cruzin.:driving:

Cops, such a PITA. Got pulled over Sat night in Burbank for no reason at all! All I did was accelerate a bit hard after making a full stop right turn. Like I didn't even pass 5k rpm or 40 mph and the idiot felt like pulling me over so he...passed 4 cars and goes into oncoming traffic just to pull me over. Thinks I'm drunk, threatens to tow my car for exhibition of speed, and gives me a tint ticket. A$$HOLE!

You need to be careful with your disparaging comments related to police officers -- it is a major "no-no" on this forum.

Also, driving around with illegally tinted windows is an open invitation to be pulled over and, in my opinion, not exactly all that smart. When you have visually illegal stuff like tint, no front plate, etc., and you get pulled over then you can only blame yourself. I realize that this is not why he nailed you, but when you drive a sports car, you need to understand who to not draw un-needed attention to yourself.

Forgot to mention my windows were down, he made me put them up... And my temp registration sticker still gives me the right not to have plates.

Exactly why I got legal tint! Buddy of mine would argue with you until he is blue in the face he would rather get pulled over for having it than not have it.

My Tint is at 15% instead of the legal 35%....5% is way too dark for me...The Z has enough blind spots as is....some towns around here will give you a hassle over it most don't...I went darker for the main reason I don't want everyone looking off in it when it's Parked...I have been running 15% on my cars and trucks around here for the Past 10 years ...OK so far...if I get a ticket for it I will change it...

i get pulled over for the tint all the time, funny thing is they never notice the windshield tinted, if they knew that different story. :bowrofl: :icon17:

last night I had a "souped" up lancer drive right beside me for more than 4km. he wanted to race me and the passengers inside all acted like idiots. I just finished working a 16 hour shift and was dead *** tired so I just smiled at them once and ignored them.

Also, big *** pickup trucks would always want to race me! as if they had a chance....and I've only had this car for 3 months btw. a lot of jealous/insecure people out there for sure

Ive got 25% which is pretty dark for a Z with black interior. My rear window is double limo, I havent gotten around to doing my front but I really want to do it 50%....

buddy that's nothing.. few weeks ago I had a PONTIAC SUNFIRE with a "hole in his muffler 'mod'" rev at me in a Timmies drive-thru, at which point.. a cloud of black smoke flew onto my sexy car! :shakes head:

he was staring at me hard through his rear mirror so I gave him a double thumbs up :tup:

Some Dude In a Black Z with custom hood Decided to Drop it a Gear and MASH the throttle when he seen me coming the other way, on Massachusetss:driving: and I'm just like, OK:ugh2: That was a LOUD @$$ Z

It's people in trucks....specifically Dodge Ram trucks...that seem to have the most "issues" with the Z. I EXPECT to be annoyed occassionally when sharing the road with a ricer....or a muscle car....but the aggression from people in pick ups came as a surprise to me upon moving to Kansas.

The window tint was a great investment...for several reasons. Ignoring idiots in pick ups ranks pretty close to the top of that list.

had a couple kids in an old busted *** accord pul up beside me and rev the nuts off the car and stare at me. i just looked over and hollered, "way too much for me man. my ride can't handle that thing!" they chuckled and drove off. gotta have a sense of humor about the whole thing. don't be the tunnel vision a hole that acts like nobody exists around them

That helps avoid confrontation though. Too many people are ******** out here, you have to just ignore them.

dude when i first saw this thread i was like these stories have to be made up until today.

Well i was at a walmart driving down one of the parking isles when this incident occured. There was an old man in a prius driving straight at me on his left which is my right side of the lane. In N america we drive on the right side of the road whether its on the streets or parking or whatevers....... anyways it was his wrong but when he passed me he flipped me off with a seriously pissed off face. I didn't react and kept driving until i parked. He was in his late 50s or early 60s for sure.

whats the confrontation. just look over and nod or smile or whatever. what are they gonna do, jump form their car to yours at 70mph and kick your ***? it makes the situation more awkward when u are clearly burning holes thru your windsheild in a very obvious effort not too look at someone. idk i guess we all deal with stuff differently

reminds me of this one time a newer camry with passengers in the back was pacing me on the freeway all the way until the freeway ended at a stop light. get to the stop light and have my windows rolled down, kid in the back seat rolls down his window and asked me how many seats my Z had at which i replied "2" after which he made a snyde remark about it "only" having 2 seats. i just told him "i have enough room in the trunk for a couple of dead hookers". priceless look on kids face followed shortly before i sped off when the light turned green :D

funny, i had a 370z owner do that to me while i was on my bike. We knew who each other were to but dont really talk. Guess he failed to realise im on a bike thats less then a meter wide and i can fit between him and the other car. I dont lane split at high speeds but i wasnt going to deal with this dudes bs.
