Thanks guys. I probably was doing more than I reported. I don't know, I guess I lack the ability to care about the speed and time of the accident as I am swerving back and forth. Surprisingly, the only thing that was bad was the quarter panel and the front bumper no other big dings as far as I know.

Corona, sorry to hear about the crash.

Also a bit of trivia: roads don't have to be under standing water to be slick. The slickest conditions (outside of ice) are generally just-moist roads at the beginning of a rain fall after dry weather. This happens because grease and oil have had a chance to dry on the road surface, and when rain starts, it brings the slick stuff to the surface. After a while, that washes away.

I didn't say that this was how the roads were. I was just responding to the idea that "because the roads weren't flooding with water, conditions couldn't be slick."

NO you broke the rules. you are only allowed to comment about how you know what he should have done and how, despite not being there, the conditions were definitely BETTER than what they actually were....

Yeah, you're right. And if I were him, I probably would have paused at that one stop sign a little longer. I think a cop nearly pulled him over. And that shirt he was wearing. God, what was he thinking this close to labor day?

Ouch! Sorry to hear. Good thing you're ok. Did you get a ticket? Here in Arizona, they would have cited you for sure : /

Maybe some car control classes are in order. You said you sort of panicked because you hadn't experienced the rear end coming 'round before... With experience, you'll learn how to drive through things like this.

Hey, Urban dictionary has an entry for it, so it must exist, just like space docking (nsfw)

Sorry to hear that man. I've had a couple of stupid fender benders from others hitting me. The car doesn't look too bad, a good shop should be able to put it back to new condition.

Sure I have but I'm also one of the few that disagrees with that and can actually drive a car. You know there was a time when cars never had nannies.
