pshh, if we could only find a way to use an LSx series motor to attack our global warming problem, we'd have it fix in a jiffy.

There is no global warming problem. It's a crock of **** made up by people who weren't around in the 60's to hear about the global cooling scare, and too dumb to read about it.

I propose than an LSX engine went back in time, kicked its ***, and eliminated it 50 years in the future.

So in other words i guess the moral of the story is, there is no replacement for displacement

Me neither! :eekdance:

Um. what's that you say? Pontiac was a GM car? Hmmm. No kidding.

I take that back :ugh2:

lol, I don't totally disagree. I think to say that all climate change going on is 100% man's fault is silly, but to say all the burning of fossils fuels, dumping pollutants in our oceans etc has not effect at all is also silly. Like most things in life, there's a happy medium that's usually closer to the truth.

That said, if we were really really serious about curbing emmissions, we'd regualte them for the military, they are our biggest polluter.

(goes and hops in Z w/LTHs and revs it unnecessarily to show how much I truly care..:driving:)

We will keep reproducing, and as long as some welfare family is 15 strong, the world will continue to degrade as natural resources flag and we are unable to support the burgeoning masses. As sick as it sounds, a large world-war would be the best thing for the planet as long as nukes/biochem were not used.

Yeah, about 4 billion or so is a good somewhat sustainable # of people for this planet, and we're around 7 billion now and climbing. Unfortuantely, the biggest growth is happening from people/nations that arent' really contributing much in the way to humanity in general, ie. third and second world nations, just more mouths to feed and **** to clean up.

I think pandemic disease is going to be what culls at least some of the herd, it's just a matter of time before another "spanish influenza" type disease hits us hard.

Having seen war up close and personal, I wouldn't wish it on anyone unless in absolute necessity in defense of our country.
