I was concerned about this earlier on when I had the car, and it is most likely due to the fact that the 370z has a very heavy flywheel and the momentum keeps the RPMs rising for a split second after you take your foot off the gas to shift. Its pretty noticeable if you floor it to 5-6k then shift...it will jump 500-700 RPM. If you floor it and take it to redline though, it will not do it.

This is most likely the issue that you are having...

I've heard of this issue before but when I was considering purchasing the vehicle I test drove a nismo 370 and drove it like I stole it and didn't encounter the same problem. Why do I see some people posting videos of them running it hard and not having the same problem?

Thank you in advance btw. Also video soon.

Hmmmm...I guess we will just wait for the video to help diagnose the issue.

try a throttle pedal reset:

During this sequence do not touch your accelerator pedal.

Turn ignition ON (dont start the car) wait at least 2 seconds
Turn ignition OFF wait at least 10 seconds
