Default Yellow 370Z, hows the color holding up?

I recently found a yellow 09 6MT Sports / Touring / Navi Z that I am considering buying. However it's not a local car so I pretty much have to pay for transfer to get it. From the pics, the yellow looks real faded. I've also looked at some of the pics of the Yellow 370z in the Official Yellow thread and some look real faded as well. However some did look real nice though.

So just wondering, for those who got the 09 Chicane Yellows, how is yours holding up color-wise after these 2 years? Is the faded look just in pics or is it not that bad in person? I've not seen a yellow Z in person yet as they are real hard to come by.

I LOVE my yellow. no fade here yet. It really makes the body lines on the car stand out and turns heads.

cant go wrong with it!

It's the camera lens that's causing the color to fade...the chicane yellow is beautiful and---by the way, can you post the link to this particular vehicle? hehehe...

don't transfer, go drive it back....I did that with my last one...the best 8 hours driving the back roads...

Mine is just like new, no fading. I agree that it is just the camera. Get it you will have a perma grin on your face!

From what I've been able to notice. If it goes unwashed for some time and there's overcast outside. The yellow will have a dullish look. But on a sunny day on a well washed and waxed car. The car has a whole new life and the color is absolutely brilliant. I noticed the same issue on the m blue as well.

That's exactly what happens. I own a MB and on a cloudy/overcast day it just looks like a dull light blue but when the sun hits it the metallic flakes pop out and it looks like a different color.

Yep, sorta like what Pearl White does in different lighting conditions. Nissan you need to bring Chicane back for 12', love it on the Z!
