Is it a scam???

Just today I recieved an email from my dealership. They forwarded an email to me from another dealer, requesting to buy my Z back. They offered 110% of BB value, and lucrative incentives toward a new car purchase (If I chose to buy)
I know when I bought the car it took the dealer quite some time to find it for me, but I've never heard of this kind of thing.
Am I the only one this has happened to?

I've received one of those letters for 3 out of the last 5 cars/trucks I've owned. If it's too good to be true.....

They might have a customer who is adamant on getting a Z and will pay whatever for it? If your considering it call the dealership and ask whats up.

I get them once or twice a year from the local Nissan dealership on our 2003 Maxima.

It's not a scam, but there's some fine print somewhere.

i leased a car from this dealer (for daily driving) but i also got a letter in the mail proposing to buy back that car

The demand for a Z in the used market is way higher than in the new market in some areas. Also, Z's are NOT plentiful. Sometimes a dealership will take a small loss to satisfy a customer if they assess the customer has potential of being a recurring buyer. Not really a scam BUT, if you don't go in guarded, you may lose the benefit behind an offer like this. If you get SCAMMED? Its cuz you allowed it. The offer itself though is a supply/demand issue.
They may be selling Z's in your area way above market value as well? Do your research.
