Nissan 370Z Forum

Would you have gotten a GTR?

The GTR records oil and gearbox temps and can see if there has been any messing with the ECU or Cobb presence. The car has to have a post inspection

The car has to have a post inspection if you track it and depending on where your temps hit, an oil change. It's the main gripe as our Porsche "friends" dont have any of this nonsense or expense!

This is for UK cars but assume it applies elsewhere.

Wait, Nissan is trying to help the owners by doing safety inspection on the car and prevent future problems? Sorry, it just sounds like you are trying to complain about the car for no reason other than Nissan being protective.
Honestly, you should be doing this anyways if you track your car. Maybe not every single event but regularly depending on how often you are at the track.

Trust me, it's nothing to do with helping anyone other than themselves to a nice bit of labour charges. It's not free and it's all part of the warranty scam!

I reckon I know whether i need new tyres, pads, discs or tranny oil! You're right I should be doing it......not someone from Nissan for a fee!
