Top 3 SEXIEST cars

Alright... this is purely subjective, but a few of us car guys here were having a discussion, and so I thought I'd bring it up to all of you.

What are your top 3 sexiest cars? Sexy to me means curvacious, with a striking presence that COMMANDS attention. It may mean something else to you all, so feel free ;) Purely aesthetic (looks only, not performance related) please. Also, I think it would be wise to put a cap/ceiling on the price? Otherwise people would be saying Ferrari's and Lambos, etc...

Let's keep it to the ceiling of being "somewhat" affordable..... how does $70k sound? Also, cars can include those of yesteryear (the past).

Here's my list:

1) 370Z - of course, I might be a little biased, but for a base price of 30k or so, nothing even comes close. The attention that it commands is unmistakable.

2) Audi A5/S5 - I almost got this car instead of the Z.... there's just something extremely sexy about this car.... at the same time, it's elegant. It's what I would drive if I wore a suit.

3) Lotus Evora - The base price is under $70k.... and something about it screams exotic and "look at me".

Honorable mention: G35C, Mazda RX-7 (mine pictured below) (3rd gen only, 93-95 in the US)
http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...lake3Clean.jpg

the new Toyota FT-86.... after seeing the pics, the more I like it. If only they'd boost that boxer 4.

kenchan 06-03-2011 08:36 AM

370z, G35C, and M3 for me.

dudafunk 06-03-2011 09:16 AM

370z, 2011 Cadillac CTS (or CTS-V) Coupe, and don't laugh - 2011 Hyundai Sonata :D

Hambone1 06-03-2011 09:16 AM

Hmm that price cap makes it a tough one. 370, S5, and...I guess either a CTS-V coupe (not really sexy in the traditional sense, but just so in your face badass with styling you either love it or hate it) or CLS550 (right on the line I know)

shadoquad 06-03-2011 09:18 AM

Hambone1 06-03-2011 09:25 AM

Now if only you could get one for below $70k

shadoquad 06-03-2011 09:26 AM

Durr, I guess I should have read the original post. Sorry guys. I :owned: myself yet again. :rofl2:

:icon18:

I have to say, though, the original post is pretty close to my own list. I love the Z obv, love the body styles of the A5/S5 and the Evora. And whoever mentioned the CTS-V, I dig those, too. So my bases are covered :icon17:

Kcuba370z 06-03-2011 09:41 AM

1) 370z
2) Saleen Mustang.
3)M3

2ndChance 06-03-2011 09:44 AM

370z, GT-R R34, S2k

Armonster 06-03-2011 09:46 AM

Are we limiting this to new cars? If not, I would put the NSX and RX-7 on the list, along with the 370Z.

onzedge 06-03-2011 09:59 AM

370z, Evora, G37C

BennytheBlade 06-03-2011 10:00 AM

g37 IPL/ Lotus Evora/ Lexus 430

FromG2Z 06-03-2011 10:15 AM

Yeah shadoquad, no McLaren!!! :shakes head: :) price point is out of reach for us normal folk, maybe not Kenchan hehehehe I kid Ken.

The Sonata though????? hmmmmmmmm it's nice.... but.... sexy? esp versus a two-door coupe shape???

Once again, I am :owned: I totally forgot about my RX-7 that I owned....
So with that, yes, let's include PAST cars too... but must still stay under $70k. I updated the original post.

I think the 370z should be out of the running since we are a little biased and its pretty much a given.

For around $70k or less and judging purely on cosmetic.....

1. Jaguar XJ
http://autocarpictures.com/wp-conten...ar-XJ-side.jpg
2. Porsche Cayman R
http://www.carpages.co.uk/porsche/po...r-17-11-10.jpg
3. Alfa Romeo 4c (Not currently in production just yet though)

Runner up's

-Audi TT RS

-Mustang Boss 302
http://www.motorator.com/uploads/blo...Boss_302_1.jpg
-BMW M3

Good point.... the Z is already #1 no matter what

I forgot about the Jaguar XJ.... that IS pretty sexy. Isn't it closer to $100k though? :icon14: Maybe I am wrong.

I also forgot about the TT RS.... indeed a sexy car.

TypeOne 06-03-2011 10:30 AM

Top 3 sexiest cars under $70?

#3: Z06 Corvette (my guilty pleasure)
http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-PwT23reUUj...allpaper+4.jpg

#2: Ariel Atom

#1: Nissan GTR

My definition of what makes a car sexy are probably a little different than most.

It's starts around $70k, but yes it does reach over $100k depending on the options you choose.

FromG2Z 06-03-2011 10:32 AM

Now you're throwing in USED cars!?!?!?!? LOL... no fair man ;)

Though I like the Vette C6 shape.... seeing it everyday and everywhere and driven by middle aged caucasian men, the design has gotten old and tired for me.

I also disagree on the Ariel Atom.... SEXY?!?!? :)

:iagree: The Atom is seriously quick, but its more of an engineer's wet dream.

Hambone1 06-03-2011 10:38 AM

The GTR and XJ are above $70k? I could be wrong...also if it's an old car original MSRP has to be sub 70 lol

You can get the GTR's used for well under 70k!!! Notice I didn't post a picture of the 2012 GTR. :p

I don't care what anyone says about the Vette, the Z06 is much different than the normal version and they are due respect.

The Atom is a fantasy of mine... I will own one... someday! :yum:

Should limit this to less than 70k new. The old NSX was over 70k, and that was more than a decade ago.

kenchan 06-03-2011 11:07 AM

RX7's were cool but they remind me too much of the TA... expecially the side and rears.

was a fan of the old 70's TA's

daisuke149 06-03-2011 11:12 AM

2012 Kia Optima Turbo in white only!

Spirra

Arial Atom

This is like a trick thread!

There aren't any cars under 70k that are as sexy as the 370Z, and it isn't allowed either!!!

:happydance:

I find myself looking at the new 5.0s with the track package. Love the wheels and the brakes on those things...
