370Z highway mileage?

What sort of mileage are you guys seeing on the highway?

murphman 05-16-2011 05:19 PM

at the right speed and gear with no traffic i can hold it somewhere between 30-35 mpg

junior_jam 05-16-2011 05:19 PM

If I set it on cruise and reset the MPGometer...

60 MPH = 38 MPG
70 MPH = 32 MPG

I was surprised it was this high, but I've tested it multiple times and get similar results each time.

Wow that's very good for a six cylinder.

from the day i picked it up new till now which is 63000 i get 22.1. thats highway, some city mileage. on a good day i can squeeze out about 410-420 miles per tank but thats rare since its fun to go fast and that makes gas go quick.

Push370zzz 05-16-2011 05:33 PM

I averaged 30.5 mpg from Chicago to Omaha (right around 450 miles) in the Z once, doing around 75 most of the way.

Push370zzz 05-16-2011 05:34 PM

(Which I was quite impressed with!!)

Ya I drove 100 miles doing about 55 mph and it said I was getting 36 mpg. I wasn't doing constant speed or elevation, so I don't doubt being able to get 38 mpg at 60 mph. Be careful doing this though, cuz I almost died of boredom.

USMCASA 05-16-2011 06:27 PM

if you can stay off the throttle you'll get better gas mileage... but its just too fun

Red__Zed 05-16-2011 07:20 PM

mid 30s with normal driving
