the R2C i had before did pretty damn well for me. the responsiveness was much better than stock setup and the IAT's were pretty much stock. the heatsheilds they use is far cleaner than the JWT and fits better too.

i originally had the JWT and it sounded good. fitment wasn't perfect and IAT's were higher. i like the fact that the venturies have inlets in the front and conal sides. :)

im using HPS tubes and KN drop-ins (i already had these from the past) more for noise control. responsiveness is about as good as the R2C.

imho if you're going CAI go R2C.

Zedge...the best I could find on the R2C is, well...I'm not sure. Here is the link I found...

Deprecated Browser Error

Couldn't determine a price or much about them to be honest. The JWT definitely has a hood seal to keep the radiator wash away as much as possible. Maybe Kenchen will come thru with more data?

Thanks, Mr. Kenchan. I can't tell from the website if these are complete intakes -- all the way to the throtlle bodies.

onzedge- btw, the intake will not remove the throttle lag. just letting you know one would need a reflash for that. :)

but it does improve things considerably... considerably more than HPS + K&N drop-ins for sure..atleast on my car.

Thank you Mr. Kenchan. Have a great weekend.

kenchan...the throttle lag is no longer evident on my Z and the only thing I've changed is the OEM intakes. Maybe it is the venturi type inlets of the JWT. I suppose it could be my imagination but I have been paying particular attention to that...it is so improved I'm impressed. The venturi inlets speed up the air and it is so undisturbed it is cleaner getting to the throttle body.

Sounds good. I believe it cause I experienced the same on both JWT and R2C. When I put the stock box throttle response wnt down considerably. I still had some lag though even with the cai. My G has no lag so that is wat I am benchmarking. :)

Ken.... why did you remove your R2C's if you were happy with it? If I ever go CAI, the R2C option might be it for me. I am not interested in removing the bumper and cutting through my framework for an install. How does the R2C compare to the Stillen G3's in your opinion? Same gains? more? less?

I must be old cause I wanted to keep it kinda quiet and so went back to the stock box. :D
That was the only reason. :) I too did not like the idea of removing the bumper although its not a huge deal.

I've no experience with the long tubes on my car so I can't comment.
