thats sucks. Apparently you didnt get the memo.... in Texas if you get in a wreck you are supposed to leave your car in the middle of the street and try to block as much traffic as possible. At least that is what they do in Houston.

I highly doubt they'll total your car. I'd guess your repairs are about $15-17k and they'll value your car closer to 30k.

What are you the one from the insurance or what all was correct.....car is total lost......a saw the estimate in repairs $16,500 plus whatever else they find........and they pay me $29,680 plus all the other bs

It comes and goes, but there are a good number of threads and a good number of accidents in this car. It's a sports car, and it's driven by a lot of young, male, fast drivers.

It's gonna happen. Whether the VDC is off or someone's speeding, or even if the other driver just doesn't see us there... I'm glad the OP is alright, but it's not a "recent trend" or anything. It's just more frequent with little sports cars than with other vehicles.
