I shouldn't have used the term "real z driver" i guess. fact is backing out of a parking spot can be dangerous because you can't see what is coming from the sides at all. I'm just messin' with you. I feel your pain. When I back out, I just inch, inch, inch, inch, inch until I can see. Don't know how other "real z drivers" do it but that's my technique. But really, I rarely park where I'd have other cars around me. I'm usually in no man's land where you can see all around and if anyone's walking or driving by you'd see them coming for miles. I'm glad to have a downward slope to my driveway so I don't have to brutalize the clutch every time I leave the house.
