But, I can't.

one of my buddies encountered the same situation at walmart. he stopped his car, got out, and placed a shopping cart on the rack.

Please tell me the cops and tow truck were called on that asshat in the Lexus. I just don't get it. Why? What's so important that someone has to do that? That is, indeed, the shittiest Parker I've ever seen. EVER.

depending on whether that parking place was public or private property, cops cant do anything, except for drivers info exchange, on private property. and thats only if they even show up.

That can be interpreted differently. Vandalism on private property is subject to police involvement. That was pure negligence and damage was caused. It isn't an "accident." That's how you'd have to get around it. But you are right. That is if the cops even show the **** up.

True, but here's the thing: from the point of view from an LEO, since the LEO didn't actually see what had happened, s/he wouldn't be able to determine who's at fault (based on this picture, it could go two ways where it could have been either of the vehicles at fault). without actual proof, and if on private property, it would be a civil matter, not criminal (i.e. vandalism). i get your logic of negligence, however, unfortunately, it's not a crime to be dumb. no doubt damage was caused, however, there are always two sides to a story, and then there's the truth.

i do the same thing. i always try to park where the curb is on my passenger side. you have a 50/50 chance of the other vehicle having or not having a passenger, thus decreasing your chance of a potential ding, whereas if you park with the curb on your driver's side, there you have a 100% chance of a potential ding, as people that park next to your car will most likely have a driver. of course, you do have those that back into spaces, but most people don't.

Ugh. Your logic is sound and that's the sad part. :/

Summary destruction of douchebags needs to be allowed.

You are right. You'd hear it by now. And yes I do the exact same thing walking around to check but I never take pics between two cars. Come to think of it, I never park between cars......except during meets.
