Instead, he parked in front of the only two stores that were open at that time. Also, I was inside for nearly 15 minutes. When I left, he was literally just getting out of the truck.

Well, in that case you should key his truck! :rofl2:

Guy in the Z can't park ;). Actually, the Lancer's right front tire was also on the line.

Until I saw the winky face, I was in disbelief! This is one of the best, non-douche parking jobs I've seen! Still in his own space AND the other car can open its door full. Props to him! :tiphat:

:tiphat: I was waay over my line, but it wasn't like anyone would park in the 2 feet between the line and the post.

Yeah, I would park the sh!t out of the spot. That Lancer can even violently fling his door open repeatedly and hit nothing but air.

I don't see a line anyway, especially as I only see a gorgeous car sitting there, shiny like high school lip gloss...

My biggest fear when watching kids get out of the car and watch the door fly open and bounce off the hinge stop 3 or 4 times.... :shakes head:

Pretty nice parking job that I saw at work today. Sorry for the dark picture. A little tough with being in the parking garage. That spot is normally where you would see a BMW, Porsche or Lexus. There is a nice buffer on the right as far as the next parking spot and on the left no one can park there.

I see nothing wrong with that.

It's hard to tell from the angle of the pic but if you were to go along the right side of his car you would see how angled he is and then on the left side he is a good 3+ feet on the other side of the line. It's the easiest parking spot to go into from the garage because its a straight shot in as your driving in the garage. There's no turning even involved as you drive right in so I don't why they are even angled. The picture isn't the best but up close you can definitely tell he is pretty angled in his parking and pretty well over the left line.

Agree. It is often the case that when I park in an end spot like this and hug the line on the no parking side, some moron will come along and park on or over the line into my space on the other side. I too will angle into the "no parking" area a bit on end spaces like this. It provides even more of a buffer from the regular parking spot on the other side.

People can park anyway they want, but as long as they do not interfere with anyone, are not blocking walkways or ramps, and are parked legally, I do not consider it to be bad parking.

Some assh*le ticket officer at my university gave me a ticket for parking on the hash-marked area. My tires were literally over by a couple inches so I could avoid a door ding from the guy in the spot next to me. Apparently, parking that way "can be a hindrance to emergency vehicles" LMFAO

I ended up fighting it and all they did was drop the price in half!!

Ah fond memories of university parking. Our parking enforcement officers would do the same thing. We lovingly referred to them as the parking Nazi's. :rofl2:
I am so glad I was finished with college before I bought my Z. My college car had so many dings from parking on campus. :shakes head:
