I never said I thought it was okay to key a car.
On the other hand, there are people who do think it's okay, and that kind of parking is all the provocation they need to justify their actions. Someone who doesn't think that parking like that might invite some sort of vandalism is living blissfully ignorant.
Which explains my comment "he had to know he had that coming."

I'm a huge fan of parking far away or in a corner.
A nice looking car draws plenty of attention to itself when parked in no-man's land. When parked in two spaces, it can draw the wrong kind of attention, and I prefer to avoid that.

Nice car.

I would rather park across the street and protect my car, then park in a full lot an dis other people.

My latest contribution,

This was this spring,

This was at the local mall,

http://i1188.photobucket.com/albums/...ps7f4d4291.jpg

This was at the hotel when we were in PA. The first car (you can just see the front bumper) and the third car are in proper spots (my car was in a spot ahead of the third car. The White car is straddling the parking line I don't know how they managed to fit the Ford between the other two cars. I should have taken the picture from the other side.

This was 2 weeks ago. You can see my Z parked in the back of the lot in a single spot.

^ Haha, I do that all the time. I can't gauge how close I am to the curb.

However, there isn't much of a curb in that pic, so I probably wouldn't have an issue.

You can judge it by lining it up with the center of your hood. If it is to the right of the center, yo are too far.

After I ran the 5K, the only thing I could say when I saw this BOOB and his massive work truck parked RIGHT NEXT TO ME was: Come on man. Come on.

I never understand this. With all of the other, just as easily accessible spots, park right there?

While his parking job may be acceptable, his choice of parking spaces would have made me  too. I hate that kind of crap :shakes head:

I was 2 for 2 that day. I went for frozen yogurt around 8:30 and came outside to this disappointment. Feel like my car is a UV light sometimes...

Well, he is in the lines and it looks like he's got more than enough door swinging room for both is driver's door and the tool bins on the side.
Maybe he wanted to park next to you because he knew you wouldn't ding him up. :rofl2:
