Never understood that mentality. Why would someone want to vandalize someones car? If a person is in the far corner of a half empty lot, how does that effect anyone.

It's a full lot. It only looks half empty because the empty space on either side of him takes up most of the picture. Total asshat move.
I wouldn't personally key his car, but if someone else did I would just say "oh well, he had to know he had that coming."

And if someone was in the far corner of a half empty lot, that kind of blatant "look at me, I'm a douchebag who thinks my car deserves more spaces than yours" park job would still solidify his status as an asshat.

:ugh2::wtf2: Wow...Seriously...Someone has a car they love and do not want door dinged, and has the respect to park FAR AWAY to allow others to park close to the shopping area and that is an Asshat ? Nope....You have the right to your opinion, but that doesn't mean you are right..

An asshat takes up two places in a crowded lot, or near the front of a store...Someone who takes two spaces in the far corner of an empty lot is smart.....

If you're in the far corner of an empty lot, why do you need two spaces? Being far away makes taking two spaces "respect"?
You're right... it's just my opinion that people who take two spaces with their cars, whether near or far, look disrespectful, arrogant and douchebaggy. Those parking like that may see themselves differently, and at the end of the day, their opinion of themselves is what matters most, not mine.

But anyway... the guy with the VW is taking up two spaces in a lot that's full. Asshat. End of story.

Good question, and one that I cannot answer. :)

I was thinking the chalk was drawn after the parking job was completed by the owner of the Z.

There is lack of respect for other people in this world. The person that takes up two spots in a full lot, is showing lack respect. And a person that thinks it is OK to key someones car is showing an equal lack of respect.

You are right. But thinking it is OK to key a car is wrong.

When you park in the far corner of the lot, the douchebag is the person who parks right next to you when the lot is empty...By taking up two spaces, you eliminate the chance of them parking right next to you...I have a Muscle car that by using this method, I have no door dings in 30 years of parking it....

It is a reasonable way to express one's displeasure. Makes a point, embarrasses the driver and causes no monetary loss.

I have no door dings on my 13 year old car, and I too use this method.
