can we instead just hate all the love??

but, the mustang has come along ways.. a long long long long ways. In fact FORD itself is making big strides which the other US companies can't seem to make.

Actually, 0.48 second (1:25.89 vs 1:26.37) for the Z roadster, which probably means at least a tie for the 5.0 vs. Z coupe.

I can't believe i'm saying this but the mustang has come a long way in the past
couple of years. but in mho it will always be considered a muscle/pony car....

it has a back seat nuff said... if i was held at gun point i would take the camaro.

but for styling, sex appeal and drop dead good looks you got to give it up to the 370................................ in it's price range...

It's time to give the mustang it's due. It's no sports car, but it is starting to turn very un-ponycar like numbers.

kudos to those guys at the blue oval for what they are doing

Wait, so the Laguna Seca edition of the Boss 302 deletes the back seats and puts in a roll cage. So it's not a pony car anymore? Now it's a sports car? :stirthepot:

No roll cage on the LS, just some extra bracing.

all we need to know is the z is the best due to the fact its less powerfull... give it 400 hp and it will own the gt

AlphaSnacks 04-25-2011 07:28 AM

It doesn't need 400HP. The coupe would've done the job: 250lbs lighter, faster, and much better handling than the convertible. Shame they used the convertible, even though it's totally not the point of this comparison anyways. Hehe.

So, my G20 is better than the 370Z, then, because it has less power, no?

if they would have used a coupe and stick, i bet it would have been a tie...i always wondered why they choose a vert auto:ugh2:

It always made me mad that the brochure for the 2009 Z said the automatic was for enthusiasts while the manual was for perfectionists. It should be the other way around. Enthusiasts shift their own gears! :stirthepot:
