Stolen S2000!! move onto the Z possibility

E46 BMW M3 - One, you won't get this car for under 40K unless you're looking used (you didn't specify). I came from a supercharged '08 Si and as it doesn't drive exactly the same (comparing to the 2K), my Z doesn't feel anywhere near as nimble as my Si (although, once I get my money together, that may be different

). You said you don't want to spend MORE than 40K and I don't know your financial situation, but you're all right up against the wall with all of your choices outside of the 2K. I think this would be your best bet.
