How fast are you driving and in what lane? Really makes me wonder when you say 'you aren't going under the speed limit' because I know lots of people who don't drive under the speed limit but deserve to have crap like that happen to them because they drive 65-70 in the fast lane when normal people are doing 75-85.

I wouldn't do that. The last time I cut off some loser who nearly T-boned my girl and I, he got out of his car, got back in the car, put the car in drive and rear-ended me then took off as soon as all 6'5 of me stormed out of the car fists clenched. No fun comforting your panicking girl, while reporting a hit and run to the police and while chasing some loser to get his license plate... Not worthy the time and effort, def learned my lesson on that one.

im not sure how to feel about this story but it was kinda funny, sucks, but funny.

:p Luckily for that arsehole, it wasn't the Z, there were no serious damages. I lucked out somehow considering I was driving another pearl white painted car. I took the car to a friend shop and he got all the scratches and dents out the same day. NOW had it been the Z I would have probably ripped that guy head off... Cheers

i feel ya. Atlanta drivers are kinda dumb. I always keep distance just so theres plenty of stopping room. People think that its an open invitation to jump in. Esp in the rain, i leave a good distance and people just weave in and out.

PRoblem with Atlanta. When it rains, they go slower, but because they are going slower they feel they can now be only 3 feet from your bumper. Thus, everytime it rains, at least 2 major highways are shut down from idiots wrecking.

But the thing that pisses me off the most is:

Im in the right lane, ready to take an exit theres a car thats about maybe 10 car lengths beheind in the lane to my left. And theres NO ONE behind me.

Apparently he needs to take same exit as me so instead of just getting in behind me, they accelerate and as soon as they barely pass my car they cut in front and then have to brake hard to grab the exit. wtf yo.

I'm not worried about losing time, just don't want rocks thrown up at Nissans crappy *** paint.

People in Delaware do that.I try and leave a safe distance and some idiot just shoots in front of me only to slow down (in the left lane) less than the speed limit. ( in Jersey we call the left lane dicks )

LOL ahhh man. I moved to DE last Aug from NJ. One thing I noticed down in DE/MD is that you have less dicks floundering around in the left lane. It seems that in NJ you can have a 3-4 lane highway and not be able to make forward progress because you have people doing the -5mph in the fast lane, -+5 in the next lane and all different speeds in the other lanes (along with exit/merging traffic). And god forbid you try and wait for the "right/safe" moment to pass, some douche will come flying up on your tail and then scoot into the lane next to you, further cockblocking any forward progress.

I coined this situation "jerked off". The context I use is "The traffic is all jerked off, I'm just staying in my lane".

When it's that bad I tend to just move the hell over to the right side and join the cattle herd. It feels safer over there than being with the jabronies weaving and braking constantly.

Wether you leave space for safety or rock chips, driving on the Los Angeles freeways is nuts. If I am in a string of cars all going 80-85, in the fast lane, with nowhere to go, I have a jerk tail gating me. If I pull over a lane and let him by, so he can be stuck, one car ahead of me, another dildo rides my bumper. If I leave enough space for a safety margin, it will be filled by somebody else. So in LA tailgating is the norm.

When you take the highway/expressway/beltway you are going to run into the most idiots on the road, especially during rush hour and lunchtime. No matter where you live it is all the same. I am from Baltimore, live in Killeen/Fort Hood (TX), have been stationed in Oahu (HI) and Naples (Italy) and it is all the same.

If you leave space, someone will fill it and it really doesn't matter if their vehicle will actially fit. They will either act like they didn't see you or just move anyway. All I ask is that they use a signal so that I and the idiot behind me have a chance to react. You would also be surprised at the amount of idiots out there that think that by passing you, they have bested you in some way.

When it rains in Killeen 190 has at least 1 accident that involves like 3-4 cars on average. The last time it rained, I passed 4 accidents on my way to PT. The last one was at the Main gate, lol.

I really don't worry about it much. If I run into idoits (and I try to avoid the highway), I just :driving:, switch lanes, and roll out.

RedBullRR 04-14-2011 10:18 AM

Seriously though what is it with some people they see my car and immediately want to cut me off.

On my way to work this morning chipper as FK I just bought my Double Din Navi... Some kid in a new Monte Carlo tried cutting me off he's flooring it, and I'm cruising in 4th gear. I just gave it gas and he couldn't pass me. I'm guessing that pissed him off cause he tried several more times getting within inches of my car. After several failed attempts with his lack of power... I pulled up next to him jumped out of the car after he curses at me only to see him high tail out of there.

So... Don't be a fkn douche on the road if you don't got balls to back it up. Okay end of rant. Carry on...

Funny but so true ... You are the one caring most about your car so they don't care if they hit you or not :) I saw this one guy in a parking lot with a beat up car; he "kicked" his door opened and it hit the nicer car right next to him. The dude just walked away like nothing happened.

Funny story RedBullRR, you'll get shot at in Baltimore before you are even done jumping out of your car. I'm sure roplusbee can corroborate what I'm saying :roflpuke2:

maaann Frank is right people here are bad.

One time with the left lane closing, i saw a MB hauling *** down the lane and if i didnt let him in front of me, he would have hit the orange barrels or the semi truck.. or me..

He thanked me for giving him room, by flipping me the bird.. So mad i was actually banging my head on the steering wheel.

but not been to SKorea, but in China.. driving is a madhouse. Its a way of life there, but for the outsider to see it would freak them out.

Sounds like some crazy drivers out there. I don't know about you guys but LA has moving wall issues.

Eg: wide open 4 lane highway and there just happen to be 4 cars (probably SUVs) taking up each lane all of them pacing each other at around 60 mph. On the rare occasion that the disparity in speed allows a gap for you to pass it results in having to cut off the car that's slightly slower. FURTHER more if you start to speed up so you can get around the slower car the driver will speed up to BLOCK you. I still can't determine if this is conscious or they see something going faster in their peripheral and they're suddenly like "SQUIRREL!". :shakes head:

IMO if you're part of this moving wall (on purpose or inadvertently) then you deserve to be cut off. If not then people are just ******** where you live. Lol.
