I wanna know how yall saved up that much money at such a young age. Im 21 and I'm financing the hell out of my Z. I will try and refinance when i can to get a lower interest rate for the car and hopefully get lower payments so I can pay extra. Any advice?

Perhaps many, many dime bag sales?

3/4

Paid 30,000 cash(8/22/10) and financed 13,000...paid off as of 10/12. 57 years old have had a few cars, first brand spanking new car. Wish i would have waited for the bugs to be worked out;oil temperature, sterring wheel lock, paint, still love the car, best bang for the bucks. In the past have kept cars for 10yrs or more, i hope this one's works out like my other cars.

Hahaha. I guess I need to find a better job, or a second job lol. I mean I get how the older guys paid cash (save over time), but I just dont see how you can be 22 and pay off a Z in cash. Unless you got it for a steal but I bought mine brand new and had to finance.

You'll be fine mate, just take care if it, regular maintenance and you'll be fine.

Geez... so many cash purchases. I got mine new in May. Paid $34k, financed $24k, owe $22k.

In my defense, I bought a house 2 weeks before I bought the Z. That's where most of my money went.
