actually the z is considered a sports car according to state farm.

My insurance increased by $4mo. It would have been the same if i was to get a corvette. still only paying $560/6mo.

thats what i thought as well....2 seater, the look of the car, the horsepower it has,.... but according to my insurance company "it doesnt have a turbo .. therefore to us, it is not a sports car"

great news for me! i got my Z AND my insurance didnt get jacked up because im 21 and have a "sports car" .... to them... im 21, and dont have a sports car =)

one has to wonder but HEY im not complaining, got my Car, the car i wanted! AND insurance didnt sky rocket like I was hearing from ppl both family AND friends... it was meant to be.

UPDATED!! My New 2011 Z... i love LOVE it.

and..

Much to my surprise, my Z insurance was the same as the premium Nationwide charges me on my 4 cyl. Altima coupe. Just don't ask any questions....

i have nationwide and when i gave them the vin it showed up on their computer as a 350. i had a tiburon before and payed 173 a month and now i pay 91 a month on the Z. im 23 by the way.
