The G37 IPL doesn't look too bad, and it comes with nice features. More power + weight + price... meh. I was close to trading in the 350Z for the G37, but was happy to back away from it. It was priced around $33k-35k at the time, which wasn't bad at all. The same with our Zs... it's approaching the 40k mark. O_o

I was looking at cars just 3 months ago. I was going to get a used 09 G37 coupe for around $32k. Then out of nowhere, my parents finally said yes to me getting 370Z and I bought one like 2 weeks later

Note: Before some one tries to flame me by saying that my parents bought me the car, let me say that this is not the case. I payed for my car with all of my own money including gas, insurance, maintenance, etc. My parents were not comfortable with me getting a sports car since they didn't think it would be safe. After much convincing from me and my uncle that the Z was perfectly the same and pretty much a G37 with 2 less seats, they were finally OK with it

40k if loaded... I got my base for well under 30 with the sport package even

So Digi, btw, (sorry off topic), did you get your car fixed from that accident? I hope so... yours was one of the most beautiful set ups here.

Although the Z is priced close to the GT and doesn't have the loads of low end grunt, I still like it... perhaps it's just Z loyalty (dad's Z32, then my Z33, and now my Z34). Either way, it's still a fun car to drive and mod if not the fastest.

Thank you for your concern. The shop realized they couldn't fix the aluminum hood, so they ordered a new one (yes!), so I probably won't get my car back until late this week. Once I get it back I'm going to quickly send it to the service to get Swift springs, rotors, pads, lines, and tires (275/35 & 305/30) installed. Afterwards, I'm going to get to the headlights and ship them out for mods. During the downtime, I'm going to try to install the INGS +1 kit from a year ago. So pictures once everything's complete
