Well, I for one wouldn't mind him buying a mustang... I mean the less people who own 370z's the better... it's more exclusive that way
![]() Plus if kids are a factor, then it's probably a no brainer. Buy a mini-van.

The 370Z is in no way limited edition at this point. The more people that own them, the more dealerships are used to working on them/servicing them. The more people that own them, the easier/cheaper parts are to find for them. The more people that own them, the more chance of finding clubs in your area. Since they are already saturated on the market (i.e., rotting on the lots), there is no "exclusivity" factor what-so-ever. Every Nissan dealership I see has a row of them off to the side. ____________ Buy the 5.0 BOSS if you want performance, it stomps the 370Z in every way possible regarding performance. If you want looks, that's subjective. If you want the nicest interior, buy the 370Z. |

![]() Not to mention, if imports don't sell a minumum of 15 to 20,000 units a year. What will happen is there will only be the four muscle cars as options. Most cars will be FwD again. BMW will be the only import choice and we will have a whole decade of boring cars. People who own Z's will see there insurance skyrocket as well as repair costs, if someone totals your Z, which we all can see is high within the realm of possiblity on this forum. You will have to buy an extremely used Z for its msrp worth or buy a muscle car. The cost of exclusivity will only add up to a very slow outdated 370z that doesn't stack up to modern muscle cars (for the 1st time in history muscle cars care about handling. They will eventually catch up) and all you exclusivity heads will be reading car and driver, looking at pics of the JDM Z wishing it would come to the states one day. I remember what that felt like and it sucked big time. Eventually, the cost would outweigh the joy of owning the Z. I know first hand cuz I had the 93 mazda RX7. Sure everyone loved my car, but ipeople envying my car doesn't really add up in my list of being a man. After a few years without that car on sale it was a b1tch to get stuff for it or find qualified mechs for it. 2 hell with excusivity and keep the sports car market alive. Period |

Is the car for you personally or for your family? If it's your toy car buy whichever you'd like. If it's going to be a family hauler, I wouldn't choose either.

![]() ![]() But I like the way the Camaro front looks better then the stang.. other then that yea Mustang wins in about everything else other then price. If its a toy car / weekend car then grab which ever one you like. If its your DD/personal then I wouldn't recommend the Z since you do have kids. |

Ford: 2010 vs. 2011 models. Coyote engine which ups it to 400+ horsepower versus its old 2010 and better fuel economy. You said the 370Z only been out for 3 years. Guess what how many years it took Ford to upgrade its cars? 1 or 2 (two being conservative). Chevrolet: Will introduce the ZL1 which has over 550 horsepower in 2012. Again, two years. Nissan? What do they get in terms of performance enhancing upgrades? None if I can recall correctly and it is a damn shame too. |
