Uh, it's called poor financial planning, not buying on impulse. Nobodys gonna wake up and decide i'm going to buy a house today and actually purchase it in the same day. it takes months to buy a house and you have to be financially qualified. its not impulse buying. you have months to think about it.

My brother just impulse bought a house. 4 days from offer to closing.

I didn't say that people were impulse buying houses. I agree that it's poor financial planning, just like impulse buying a $40k car is poor financial planning (more like no financial planning lol). I was just saying that buying a house that you know you can't afford is a more stupid thing to do with your money than to impulse buy a car that you can at least afford to buy.

How much would it cost if you buy the sports package Z but install the front and back of the Nismo including the rear wing?

That depends where you get the body parts; if they are actual factory Nissan parts or just replicas; and where you get them installed.

OP could always sell / trade his nismo parts for stock / bonus cash to fix his other problems.

all good answers here. but sorry you got screwed without the kiss....

you made the choice now you have to live with it.....

1. trade it in for what you REALLY won't. be ready for at least a 4to5 grand hit.
2. sell the car to someone but unless you paid cash you will also be raped by the interest charges you will have to eat.....
or 3. keep it and enjoy the crap out of it its a nismo for crying out loud...

Hmm, what if they are both Nissan parts and you get them installed at an actual Nissan installation shop?

Factory Nissan parts are expensive. You can probably get them for a bit cheaper from some of the vendors on this forum. The Nissan dealership is just also going to charge you a lot. As an example, I got a spoiler around a month ago (the sport package one). It's listed at ~$600 on Nissan's website. I found it for ~$400 from a forum vendor. I bought a replica from eBay for $139. When I asked the dealership how much it would be to get it installed they told me $216. I went to a body shop myself and got it done for $80.

Here's a full kit from Z1 Motorsports. It's expensive, but you might be able to get it cheaper by looking around. Or you can just get the parts you like and not get the whole kit.

Why downgrade for the a base? The Nismo is pretty good already.

Chage color to silver- less of a cop magnet then red
Automatic - I can eat and drive at the same time
Nismo has too much road noise.

"eat and drive at the same time" .....Folks this guy needs help!....I'm not sure if "we" can help him though.

Good luck OP.
