wow. doesn't look that bad.
I just want the spoiler
Doesn't look all fast & furious, good job.
not a fan of the big snout. A little too rice a roni to me.
i love those lines. super sexy. not a fan of the wing tho, i like my sports one better.
They did a great job on this one.... and finally they took my idea to get a Porsche GT2ish spoiler on the rear. Thanks guys!
Wow! We have a price yet?
Nice.. Thanks for the link!
That wing would be a b#tch to wax.
I think the lines of the regular sport version are better. All the Nismo body work looks chachmo to me. |
I like the sport better. After seeing this I'm happy I didnt wait. Thanks for the pics!
That rear wing is horrible.

Dammit - the only thing I want is the seam welding. I don't like the nose or the wing - and I can buy the chassis bracing and exhaust - but seam welding at the factory - that's going to make me jealous if I just buy the Sport.
Urgh. What to do... (was planning on buying in May). |
front spoiler too pointy!!!
I have to say, it's growing on me the more I look at it. Thoughts:
everything looks good except for the spoiler!
Wow!
Most of all I like the rims - must have! The front bumper, sides and wing are cool - not sure about the rear. But I need to have my leather and Nav so I am still looking at the GT. Maybe I can buy the Aero parts and wheels for my 370. |
WOW! I'm not all for body kits and what not but this is INFINITLY better than that lip-kit we all thought was going to be the nismo 370z. GG Nissan...the designers really took the lines of the car and meshed them well with the new bumpers.
i love it, gets rid of all the things that i don't like about the "regular" Z34 (and that's not much)
Not liking the spoiler too much. Screams ricer...
Nice job nissan! specially on the g nose, wheels and the interior. The rear bumper looks ok but the wing and sides gotta go. I give it an 8/10.
Notice that the silver paint color on the nose doesn't quite match the body?
I hope the production vehicles will have better paint matching. |
Ahh - I note that Inside Line is now saying that the car is *not* seam-welded. Bummer. The new car is probably stiff enough without that.

thats just how the paint sits on differnet materials urethane vs metal on my magnetic black nismo 350z in the right light the bumper and hood were way off in color |
I think we have a new front runner in the body-kit race. Buh Bye Zele. Say what you will about the wing...it may not work on a stock 370 but on this body it works perfectly. I'm not big on body kits but if this one becomes available for retrofit I'll seriously consider it.
Personally, I enjoy the GT2 style wing. Since the 370Z has more of a curved back end like a Porsche, I think it works well.
Better than the past shots we got, but the front still makes me think of the 2000 Celica... At least it's only the front this time. The 350 nismo really made me think of that pile of fugly.
As for the spoiler, I agree that on a standard 370, the sport looks better, but this spoiler was definitely made for the Nismo. Try imagining the sport spoiler on it... that'd just be out of place, just like the nismo spoiler on a standard Z. |
Not to shabby...the lines are pretty nice.
Nissan Microsite on car is here 2009 NISMO Z - Nissan USA
Any theories on if Nissan will offer these parts for the aftermarket?
i love everything on it except i like to have the Nav, Leather, etc (that comes in touring model) It just sucks they won't because a lot of people out there aren't shooting for luxury in a sports car. But to me, I want this Nismo to be my everyday car. Cuz honestly, who the hell have that much money to buy a nice everyday car and then buy this Nismo for sole purpose of track racing? Then again, some people will have a different pt of view believe that extra money could be spend else where...like mods. Don't get me wrong, i'm gonna still mod the crap outta this Nismo, like Turbo and stuff. But it'll be a long term project. Otherwise I would buy the GT-R if i'm that rich.
Good Job Nissan! I love the Rear Wing. For the longest time I found the Nissan 370Z rear fugly. I tried looking at all the spoilers and none of them just cut it. For awhile I even thought of buying the Nismo 350Z spoiler to mount on a 370Z if I get one. I'm seriously buying one sometime this summer and now I have 2 options: 1. Touring w/ Sports pkg 370z (I have my heart settled on this car for awhile now) - and then mod the intake, exhaust, suspension, sway and buy the Nismo body kit; but this way I can have everything I want. 2. Nismo (and then see if later in time I can get a hold of the OEM Nav to do the upgrade, btw, I know they don't sell it at the dealer) Sigh....decisions decisions....all I know is my limit's $40K and I don't mind waiting till summer.... |
have they given an MSRP for it yet? how much more is it than teh regular 370 with sports package?
Not a fan at all. I think the Z w/ Sport Package is the best looking variant I've seen.
Where are they getting the extra 17HP from ?????
Is NISMO adding HFC to this set-up, is it tuning, is it the WING ;) |
just the exaust thats it! exaust adds 17-20 hp to the wheels thats 25ish to the flywheel
332 + exaust = 350ish flywheel hp. not worth all extra money.. through i do like the body kit and the seats.. sexy |
i would say its as much (or probably more) of the new ECU tune/map as the exhaust. look where the 350hp peak is at all the way up to 7400 rpm. so thats an obvious differnt curve than stock. so yeah the exhaust plays a role but if you go an dyno that exhaust your not gonna 18 hp.
